The privileged geographical situation of the land of the "Livinière" allows the practice of a natural culture, the most important element of the ambition displayed at the "Oustal Blanc"

Indeed, cut from the sea influences because of its distance from the Mediterranean sea, in a Southern flora setting, this land beeficiates from an ideal ecosystem.

At "La Livinière" no mildew, no parasites of the animal kingdom (vine moth, leafhoppers, cochilis, etc...).
Only powdery mildew requires extreme vigilance in vegetative phase, but can be perfectly controlled by treatment with sulfur powder.

The crossed ploughing allow the maintenance of a natural flora as diverse as possible.

The practice of scarification, allows to keep the maximum of microbic life, the progressive reimplantation of earthworms and guarantees the presence of a large number of insects in our soils developed (agglomerate based on sea fossils) from marl and gravelly marls sometimes covered with shale.
